2020 Mazda CX-30 2.0L AWD Variant Launched – RM176k

Bermaz Motor Sdn Bhd, the authorised distributor for Mazda in Malaysia announced today that the CX-30 SUV which was launched just months ago, has been updated.

The big news is the introduction of the CX-30 2.0L AWD High variant, which is now the range topping model in the range, with an asking price of RM176,059.

With the introduction of the AWD variant, the CX-30 is now available in four variants:

  • CX-30 2.0L 2WD – RM145,759
  • CX-30 2.0L 2WD High – RM164,059
  • CX-30 1.8L Diesel 2WD High – RM172,943
  • CX-30 2.0L AWD High – RM176,059

Powering the new variant is the same 2.0 litre SkyActiv-G four-cylinder engine and 6-speed automatic gearbox as the other 2.0G variants, but with Mazda’s i-Activ all-wheel drive system. Total output figures stand at 162 hp and 213 Nm of torque.

The i-Activ AWD system also comes equipped with an Off-road Traction Assist system, which distributes power to the tires that are in contact with the road surface to maximize traction performance.

Apart from the i-Activ AWD system and the off-road traction assist system, the 2.0L SKYACTIV-G AWD retains the same specification as the 2.0L SKYACTIV-G High spec variant.

Besides the new variant, the entry level CX-30 2.0L Skyactiv-G has been updated with a couple of new features such as the Mazda Advanced Keyless entry, and the Walk Away Lock feature. Thanks to the new features, price has gone up by RM2,700 to RM145,759.

The MAZDA CX-30 is currently CBU from Japan. The colour line-up remains unchanged, comprising Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Snowflake White Pearl, Titanium Flash and Polymetal Gray Metallic; making a total of 8 colours available.

All new Mazda vehicles will have 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance (except Mazda BT-50) according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants.

Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
