Porsche Malaysia, through Sime Darby Auto Performance, has launched the all-electric Porsche Macan. Prices start at RM 430,000 for the base model, and it’s available for purchase now.
The new Macan stands out for its sleek design, Porsche-level performance, long-range capability, and practicality, making it a great option for SUV enthusiasts. It comes in four models:
- Macan: 265 kW, 641 km range – RM 430,000
- Macan 4: 300 kW, 612 km range – RM 445,000

Design and Practicality
The Macan maintains its sporty Porsche look with a sleek body, coupe-like lines, and a modern interior. It includes:
- Two luggage spaces (rear: up to 540L, front: 84L).
- Improved cabin comfort, with lower seating and more legroom.
Technology and Features
The Macan offers a fully digital driving experience with a 12.6-inch curved display, passenger screen, and Android-based infotainment. Other highlights include a premium sound system, advanced climate control, and active safety features.
Additional standard options are available for would-be Macan owners in Malaysia, including features such as Power Steering Plus, electrically-opening charging cover, Surround View including Active Parking Support, four-zone climate control, a 230V power outlet in the luggage compartment, and a premium BOSE Surround Sound System.
Warranty and Maintenance
The Macan’s battery has an 8-year warranty, extendable to 15 years. Owners also get a comprehensive maintenance package for the first two years.
That being said, test drives are now available at all Porsche Centres in Malaysia.
