Honda Malaysia has officially launched the new and updated 2020 Honda CR-V. Bookings for the New CR-V opened in October and it has already received 600 orders.
The pricing is as mentioned below (with SST exemption):
- CR-V 1.5L TC-P 4WD – RM162,910
- CR-V 1.5L TC-P 2WD – RM157,615
- CR-V 2.0L 2WD – RM139,912
The New CR-V now comes with the full suite of Honda Sensing safety features and Honda LaneWatch, as well as dynamic performance with 4WD system. The features include:
1. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
2. Low Speed Follow (LSF)
3. Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
4. Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
5. Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
6. Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
7. Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
8. Auto High Beam (AHB)
The powertrain package has been carried over, so we have the 1.5L VTEC Turbo engine making 193PS and 243Nm on one hand, and the 2.0 litre SOHC i-VTEC naturally-aspirated four-cylinder petrol engine making 154 PS and 189 Nm of torque. Paired to the engines is a CVT gearbox.
Also worth mentioning is the fact that the highest variant of the new CR-V is now coupled with the 4WD system.
On the exterior, new features include a new black Grille combined with Honda Signature LED Headlights, a new front bumper with new wing-style chrome fascia, a new rear bumper, new Smoked Taillights, as well as twin chromed exhaust tips. Completing the new look of the model are the new 18-inch dual-tone alloy wheels.
Inside, the CR-V gets a 7-inch TFT digital instrument cluster, dual-zone automatic air-conditioning, rear air cond vents, leather upholstery, powered front seats, a 7-inch Advanced Display infotainment system, Android Auto and Apple CarPlay connectivity, as well as eight speakers.
Other key features include a hands-free powered tailgate, two USB ports located underneath the gearshift, Remote Engine Start, Rear Seat Belt Reminder, as well as Remote Retractable Door Mirrors.
The New CR-V is available in five attractive colours; Lunar Silver Metallic, Passion Red Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic, Dark Olive Metallic and a brand-new option, Platinum White Pearl.
