After teasing the controversially designed new 2020 BMW M3 and the 2020 BMW M4 on their social media pages for a couple of days, BMW Malaysia have officially taken the wraps off both cars.
Available for pre-booking on BMW Malaysia’s online showroom, both the M3 and M4 are available exclusively in Competition trims, priced from RM664,800 and RM684,800 respectively.
For the BWM M3 Competition, those who book the car online now (RM5,000 booking fee) will get to enjoy Innovation Package options worth RM75,000, at a special promotional rate of RM58,000.
The same goes for the BMW M4 Competition as well, where customers who book the car can enjoy options worth RM76,000 at RM56,000 only with the Innovation Package.
Both the BMW M3 Competition and M4 Competition are powered by the same 3.0-litre twin turbo engine producing 510 PS and 650 Nm of torque, sent exclusively to the rear wheels via an 8-speed M Steptronic automatic gearbox. In case you’re wondering how fast the cars are, they can do the century sprint in just 3.9 seconds.
In standard guise, exterior features include LED headlights and taillights, high-gloss black coloured front grille, bumper trim, side mirrors, and rear spoiler, black chrome exhausts, as well as 19-inch wheels in front and 20-inch wheels at the rear.
Inside, both cars come with BMW Individual Anthracite Headliner, Merino Leather upholstery, M Leather steering wheel, M-specific pedals, ambient lighting, as well as M Sport seats with illuminated model inscription among others.
The list of standard equipment includes Adaptive M suspension, M Sport differential, M drive, Shifting Point Display, Cruise Control with braking, automatic air conditioning with 3-zone control, electrically adjustable seats with memory function, BMW Live Cockpit Pro 12.3-inch digital instrument panel, a 10.25-inch touch screen infotainment display, Comfort Access, and more.

That being said, the new BMW M3 Competition and M4 Competition are offered here in seven exterior colour options – Sao Paulo Yellow, Isle of Man Green, Alpine White, Brooklyn Grey Metallic, Toronto Red, Portimao Blue and Black Sapphire.
To recap, both the incoming new models are available for pre-booking on the BMW Shop Online platform from now until 31st December 2020 at RM5,000 each. The BMW Innovation Package will also be available as an option for both new models to offer prospective owners a Premium Ownership Experience that is truly their own.
Prospective owners are also entitled to special pricing and offerings for the All-New BMW M3 Competition and the All-New BMW M4 Competition Coupé – including being the first few customers to receive their vehicles in 2021.
