In addition to the new 5 Series, BMW Malaysia today unveiled the locally-assembled New BMW 630i GT M Sport – the latest iteration of its kind since the car was first introduced in 2017.
The retail pricing for the New BMW 630i GT M Sport (on the road, without insurance) is RM430,800.00 (with SST) / RM 417,659.05 (without SST)
Exterior
On the exterior, the new BMW 630i GT M Sport now features the latest BMW Laserlight headlights, a larger kidney grille, new bumpers, 20-inch M light alloy wheels in Star-spoke style 817 M Bicolour with mixed tyres and run-flat tyres, and blue painted M Sport brake callipers.
At the rear, of the 630i GT M Sport now features a new diffuser insert that come with the M Sport package, two-sided trapezoidal exhaust pipes, and an active rear spoiler which automatically deploys at 120 km/h and retracts once the car slows down to 80 km/h.
For added convenience, the New BMW 630i GT M Sport also comes with the Comfort Access System and BMW Display Key.
Powertrain
Powering the new BMW 630i GT M Sport is an inline four-cylinder petrol engine capable of a maximum output of 258 hp, a peak torque of 400 Nm and a top speed of 250km/h. The century sprint can be completed in just 6.5 seconds. Fuel consumption is measured at 7.3 litres per 100 kilometres of travel, with CO2 emission of 166g/km.
Inside, the slightly elevated seats (by 5 cm) are complemented by Leather Dakota upholstery, individual headliner anthracite, and fine-wood ash trunkwood open-pored trim with Pearl Chrome highlight trim finish.
Interior
Besides that, the fully digital instrument display along with the central Control Display has grown from 10.25 inches to 12.3 inches.
Other standard equipment include the M Leather steering wheel, automatic air conditioning with 4-Zone control, roller sunblinds, a two-part panoramic glass roof, and a 16-speaker Harman Kardon audio system.
In terms of digital assistance, the New BMW 630i GT M Sport is complete with the Driving Assistant and Parking Assistant Plus, as well as Active Cruise Control with Stop&Go function. Also standard for the New BMW 630i GT M Sport is the fully digital BMW Live Cockpit Professional with BMW Operating System 7, which provides access to a world of BMW digital features.
These features include navigation, the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant, 4G LTE connectivity and various services such as Remote Software Upgrade and over-the-air map updates for the navigation system.
Personal assistant
With the BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant and BMW Gesture Control, the New BMW 630i GT M Sport takes interactions between driver and vehicle to the next level. The BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant provides support tailored to the preferences of driver and front passenger, with functions such as navigation, air conditioning, multimedia and telephony; while BMW Gesture Control offers ease of accessibility, allowing for greater convenience and attention on the road.
With the Balloon Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW 630i GT M Sport can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM 4,778.00 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure).
