Seven new Audi e-tron EVs launched – From RM383,990

The Audi e-tron range comprises four SUVs and three cars that are priced up to RM807,990

PHS Automotive Malaysia (PHSAM), the authorised distributor of Audi vehicles in Malaysia today officially launched seven fully-electric Audi e-tron models to the Malaysian market with prices as mentioned below:

● Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron advanced 50 quattro – RM389,990

● Audi Q8 Sportback e-tron S line 55 quattro – RM484,990

● Audi e-tron GT quattro – From RM 587,990

● Audi e-tron GT quattro with Dynamic Package – RM666,990

● Audi RS e-tron GT – RM792,990

Taking centre stage was the Q8 e-tron which is available in four variants. The entry level model is the Q8 e-tron advanced 50 quattro which produces 340 PS and 664 Nm of torque. Capable of covering up to 410 km with a fully charged battery, the Q8 e-tron advanced 50 also comes with a 95 kWh battery.

The next variant is the more powerful Q8 e-tron S line 55 which produces 408 PS and 664 of torque, thanks to a 114 kWh battery. Capable of covering up to 481 km with a fully charged battery, the Q8 e-tron S line 55 also gets a few extras on top of the aforementioned base variant such as 21-inch wheels, more aggressive bumper trims, as well as a sportier looking interior.

Moving on, we have the “coupe” version of the Q8 e-tron, which is the Q8 Sportback e-tron advanced 50 which shares the same powertrain package as the variant mentioned above.

However, there are a few key differences that separate them besides just the low-slung roof, such as the Matrix LED headlamps, sports adaptive suspension, the sports seats, and the black styling package which are exclusive to the Sportback.

Last but not the least in the Q8 e-tron range is the Q8 S line 55, which also comes with a 106 kWh battery that produces 408 PS and 664 Nm. While the electric driving range is rated at 481 km, it gets the upgraded 22 kW charging capability which allows DC fast charging up to 170kW versus the “50” variants’ 150kW.

Moving on, we have the e-tron GT quattro and RS e-tron GT which are powered by two PSM motors (on each axle) each. While the former churns out 476 PS and 530 Nm of torque, the more radical RS e-tron GT kicks out 598 PS and 830 Nm of torque. In terms of performance, the RS e-tron GT achieves a century run in just 3.3 seconds.

Offering up to 501 kilometres of electric driving range, the e-tron GT also boasts Audi’s groundbreaking electric quattro, steel brakes with tungsten carbide coating for more durability and carbon roof (e-tron GT with Dynamic Package and RS variant).

That being said, all Audi e-tron models come standard with 2 years unlimited mileage warranty, 8 years or 160,000 km battery warranty, and 5 years complimentary roadside assistance. Customers may opt for the Audi Assurance Package (AAP) which offers 3 additional years of warranty and 3 years maintenance at 15,000km service intervals.

To further enhance the ownership experience, all models come with the mobile e-tron Compact Charging System to provide charging convenience, no matter the location. As an additional benefit, owners will also receive complimentary RM1,000 JomCharge credits with a validity period of one year.
