Edaran Modenas Sdn Bhd (“EMOS” or “the Company”), the wholly owned subsidiary of Motosikal dan Enjin Nasional Sdn Bhd (“MODENAS”), recently announced the price of the 2023 Modenas Kawasaki Versys-X 250 model.
Available in Metallic Flat Spark Black and CDY Lime Green colour options, the price stands at RM 24,900.
Powering the Versys-X 250 is a 249cc, twin-cylinder engine, producing 33.5 hp at 10,500 rpm and 21.7 Nm of torque at 10,000 rpm. Paired with the engine which is the same as the Ninja 250, is a six-speed transmission as well as a slipper and assist clutch.
Also part of the standard features list is a 17-litre fuel tank, a 19-inch front tyre, 17-inch rear tyre, single hydraulic front and rear brake discs, dual-piston brake callipers, ABS, a digital-analog combination instrument panel, non-adjustable telescopic front forks with 130 mm travel, a preload-adjustable rear monoshock suspension with 148 mm travel, as well as a seat height of 815 mm. In terms of dimensions, the Versys-X weighs 181 kg and comes with 180 mm of ground clearance.
