BMW Malaysia has officially introduced the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport variant, complementing the Pure Excellence variant that was unveiled earlier this year.
Assembled in Kulim, Kedah, the latest variant will feature a new M Specific front and rear design thanks to the M Aerodynamics Package, along with door entry sills that feature the iconic M inscription.
New visual highlights on the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport consist of the BMW Iconic Glow kidney grille that is beautifully illuminated by LED fibre optics for a strong visual aura, along with new 22-inch M Sport light alloy wheels in double spoke 913 M bicolour with mixed tyres.
Inside, the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport features a new ‘Fineline Black’ fine wood trim with high-gloss metal effect, the M leather steering wheel as well as BMW Individual extended Merino leather upholstery in Black or Tartufo.
In terms of driving assistance, the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport will also arrive with the Driving Assistant Professional including Distance Control with Stop & Go function along with the Steering and Lane Control Assistants – enabling Level 2 Autonomous Driving capabilities and offering enhanced comfort as well as safety with a relaxed driving experience.
The X7 xDrive40i M Sport will continue to be powered by an in-line six mild hybrid engine, capable of a 250 km/h top speed, delivering 380hp and 540 Nm of torque. This allows the SUV to achieve the century sprint in just 5.8 seconds.
Paired with the BMW xDrive all-wheel drive system and an 8-Speed Steptronic Sport transmission, the X7 M Sport also boasts the mild-hybrid technology with a 48-Volt starter generator for even better efficiency and dynamics.
In addition to the existing Mineral White Metallic and Black Sapphire Metallic colour offerings for the BMW X7, the variant-exclusive M Brooklyn Grey Metallic will also be made available for the New BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport.
Priced at RM718,800, owners of the new BMW X7 xDrive40i M Sport will receive the complete BMW Group Malaysia Premium Ownership experience which includes BMW 5-Year Unlimited Mileage Warranty with Free Scheduled Service Programme, BMW Roadside Assistance and Accident Hotline services, as well as BMW Service Online.
