BMW Malaysia has announced the official pricing of the New BMW 520i. The locally assembled premium executive sedan is now available at all authorised BMW dealerships nationwide, priced at RM332,800.00.
First premiering at the Malaysia Autoshow 2024, the New BMW 520i is the latest addition to the BMW 5 Series family, combining a sleek sport exterior design language with a truly sophisticated interior design that seamlessly blends functionality with elegance.

With the Easy Drive Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW 520i can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM3,881.00 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure)*. Customers can also benefit from a RM10,000 cash rebate upon registering for the Easy Drive Financing from now until 30th June 2024.
Whilst with the Straight-Line Financing Plan, customers can own the New BMW 520i with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM3,942.00 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a seven-year tenure)*.

Like its electric counterpart, the exterior on the New BMW 520i features a similar design to the BMW i5, showcasing a sleek and sporty exterior design language. With its elongated silhouette, culminating in a harmoniously designed sporty rear section, the New BMW 520i now runs on new 19-inch aerodynamic wheels 934 bicolour grey.
The New BMW 520i also now features a truly sophisticated interior design that seamlessly blends functionality with elegance. The two-spoked steering wheel boasts integrated controls in its horizontal spokes, providing convenient access to various functions. A flattened bottom section, a first for the BMW 5 Series, adds a sporty touch to the steering wheel. Other notable features include the driver-oriented BMW Curved Display, comprising a 12.3-inch instrument display and a 14.9-inch touchscreen Control Display.
The innovative illuminated BMW Interaction Bar simplifies control of the air conditioning and other functions, enhancing the driving experience. Additionally, a wireless charging tray ensures smartphones stay powered up on the go. While the iDrive Controller and other elements in the centre console control panel have been redesigned, they retain their intuitive functionality, ensuring effortless operation for drivers.
The New BMW 520i is powered by the revered B48 4-cylinder engine, now in 48V mild hybrid form, a technology previously seen in the BMW X7. This powertrain configuration delivers a robust performance, generating 153 kW/208 hp and a torque of 330 Nm – enabling the New BMW 520i to accelerate from 0 to 100 km/h in just 7.5 seconds.
With a top speed of 230 km/h, this further solidifies the vehicle’s position as a formidable contender in the premium sedan segment. The New BMW 520i’s mild hybrid system also enhances efficiency and reduces emissions, whether cruising along the highways or navigating urban streets, offering a refined driving experience that blends power, efficiency, and luxury seamlessly.
