SAIC Motor Malaysia recently announced the launch of a new dedicated MG Motor parts warehouse in Klang Valley, aimed at significantly improving service efficiency and reducing repair turnaround times for MG owners.
This state-of-the-art facility, equipped with over 4,500 stock-keeping units (SKUs) and more than 22,000 parts, will support both Internal Combustion Engine (ICE) and Electric Vehicles (EV), ensuring fast and reliable service for popular MG models including the MG4 EV, MG ZS EV, MG5 Sedan, MG HS SUV, and the highly anticipated MG Cyberster EV Roadster.
This warehouse expansion underscores MG’s commitment to exceptional after-sales support in Malaysia, enhancing the convenience for MG owners in the region. The new facility will streamline repair processes, enabling faster access to genuine parts and minimizing vehicle downtime. With increasing demand for both electric cars and hybrid vehicles, MG’s proactive after-sales strategy supports the growing number of EV and ICE vehicle owners in the country.
Along with the new parts warehouse, SAIC Motor Malaysia also celebrates the graduation of 39 certified MG technicians as part of an expanding network of authorized service centres. With 12 centres already operational and 13 more scheduled to open, MG owners can easily access comprehensive warranty services and vehicle repairs across Malaysia. All authorized dealerships are fully stocked with essential MG replacement parts, ensuring that customers enjoy minimal wait times and efficient service for MG car maintenance.
In addition to improving after-sales service, the new warehouse supports cost-effective ownership for MG5 Sedan owners. The MG5 Sedan comes with a 5-year Unlimited Mileage Vehicle Warranty and an 8-year Unlimited Mileage Powertrain Warranty, providing owners with budget certainty and reducing ownership costs. Regular scheduled maintenance, vehicle inspections, and part replacements help ensure that MG vehicles maintain reliability while keeping costs manageable.

This extended coverage gives MG EV owners additional confidence in the long-term performance of their electric vehicles.
