The eight new trucks included four Quester CWE models, as well as two Quester GWE and two Quester GKE models, all of which will be used for the transportation of diesel and fuel across Peninsular Malaysia. The Quester CWE and GWE models feature a 6×4 axle configuration and a horsepower range of 330 to 440, while the Quester GKE model offers a 4×2 axle configuration with 390 horsepower.

All vehicles are equipped with an 11-litre GH11E engine designed for excellent torque output and fuel efficiency through low engine speeds. The trucks are fitted with 9- and 12-speed gearboxes, a full air brake system, and an auxiliary engine brake system.

Siow Wee Chuan, Managing Director of Sunmax Petroleum Sdn Bhd, shared, “We are thrilled to integrate the Quester trucks into our fleet, marking the start of our partnership with UD Trucks. In our business of fuel supply and transportation, our decision to opt for the heavy-duty Quester was driven by factors such as efficiency, performance, dependability, and safety, after an extensive evaluation by our team.”
