DAF Trucks collected three prestigious awards at the 2016 Commercial Fleet Awards ceremony: next to DAF Trucks being awarded ‘Truck Fleet Manufacturer of the Year’, the DAF LF-series was voted ‘Best Urban Delivery Truck’ and the DAF CF-series won the ‘Best Distribution Truck’ Award. It is for the second year in a row DAF Trucks scoops the Commercial Fleet Award for both the LF-series as well as for ‘Truck Fleet Manufacturer of the Year’.
The 2016 Commercial Fleet Awards ceremony was held at the Hilton Metropole Hotel in Birmingham. “These awards are extremely valuable to us as they are a recognition from leading UK fleet operators and fleet managers with an in-depth understanding of the needs of the industry”, stated Richard Zink, Director Marketing & Sales and member of the Board of DAF Trucks N.V. “The awards underline the great quality of our trucks and services, which contribute to lowest total cost of ownership and highest transport efficiency of which our customers are benefitting every day. It is for good reasons that DAF has been the UK market leader for over 20 years in succession.”

Recently, the DAF XF series collected the titles ‘Fleet Truck of the Year’ and ‘Master Truck of the Year’ in the UK and Poland respectively, while the CF was awarded ‘Best Distribution Truck’ at the Irish Truck of the Year election.
