BMW Malaysia has unveiled the all-new BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport at the premium automaker’s first-ever virtual unveiling in Malaysia on https://shop.bmw.com.my, with an asking price of RM729,800 on the road without insurance.

It is with great pleasure that we unveil the third generation of the iconic BMW X6 in Malaysia today as we celebrate its pioneering spirit and immaculate design that has turned heads on the road for more than a decade.”
Compared to its predecessor, the all-new X6 is now 26 mm longer, 15 mm wider, and comes with a wheelbase that is 42 mm longer than before. Overall height however, has been reduced by 6 mm.
A key part of the new front design is the large kidney grille with ‘Iconic Glow’ illumination and with both halves framed by a common surround. Complementing the grille are the slim twin BMW Laserlights with high-beam assistant and LED fog lights underscore the vehicle’s width and road presence. Wheel arches on the other hand, are now shaped slightly hexagonal.
The all-new X6 also features the BMW Individual Exterieur Line bits which include Satinated Aluminium roof rails, LED three-dimensional taillights, rear air breathers, an automatic tailgate, as well as M Sport exhaust system, M Sport brake, Adaptive M Suspension, and 21-inch M light alloy wheels in Y-spoke style 741 M Bicolour with mixed and run-flat tyres.
Inside, the cockpit has been completely redesigned, with key features like Vernasca leather upholstery, M Leather steering, sport seats for both the driver and front passenger, moulded single rear seats, roller sunblinds, as well as the automatic air-conditioning with four-zone control.
The two-part panoramic glass roof is now 83% larger, while the rear backrest comes with a 40/20/40-split folding function – providing a luggage capacity that can be increased from 580 to as much as 1,530 litres.
The all-new X6 is also furnished with Harman Kardon 16-Speaker Surround Sound System, ‘CraftedClarity’ glass application for interior elements, as well as interior trim finishers in Aluminium Tetragon and BMW Individual headliner anthracite. Ambient lighting can be customised with up to six different selections to set the right driving mood.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional is available as standard, combined with the Head-Up Display, BMW Gesture Control, and BMW Intelligent Personal Assistant.
The BMW Live Cockpit Professional includes a 12.3-inch Instrument Display, customisable instrument cluster and a 12.3-inch touchscreen Control Display.
The latest-generation infotainment system excels with the BMW Operating System 7.0. Rear passengers will benefit from the Rear-seat Entertainment Professional with two 10-inch touchscreen displays.
Under the hood of the all-new X6 xDrive40i M Sport is a 3.0-litre in-line six petrol engine that makes 340 hp and 450 Nm of torque, enabling it to achieve a limited top speed of 250 km/h, and accelerate from standstill to 100 km/h in 5.5 seconds.
Paired to the engine is an eight-speed Steptronic Sport transmission, with power channelled to all four wheels via the BMW xDrive system. Driving dynamics of the All-New BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport is offered via a double-wishbone front suspension, five-link rear suspension and Dynamic Damper Control as standard.
Owners of the all-new X6 will also be able to enjoy the BMW Display Key and Wireless Charging, along with the BMW Connected Package Professional with Teleservices, Intelligent Emergency Call and Apple CarPlay for enhanced convenience and comfort on every drive.
The All-New BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport also features the latest in driving assistance systems, including the Driving Assistant Professional which comes with the Cross-traffic Warning at the rear and Lane Change Warning. It also includes the Active Cruise Control with Stop & Go function, as well as the Steering and Lane Control Assistant with narrow-passage support.
In addition, the Parking Assistant Plus available as standard includes the Parking Assistant as well as the Reversing Assistant that remembers the last 50 metres of the drive and is able to semi-automatically reverse the car along the same route.
Offered in six exterior colours (Manhattan, Artic Grey, Riverside Blue, Carbon Black, Mineral White, Flamenco Red) and three interior colour options, the all-new X6 can be booked online with a booking fee of RM5,000.
With the Balloon Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the all-new BMW X6 xDrive40i M Sport can be owned with monthly instalment plans starting from RM 8,328.00 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a five-year tenure).
