Those who happened to drop by the official website of Toyota Malaysia would’ve noticed something very interesting today – a post teasing the arrival of the all-new Toyota RAV4.
On top of the teaser image, UMW Toyota Motor Sdn Bhd, the authorised distributor of Toyotas in Malaysia also included an online form for potential customers to register their interest on the upcoming SUV.
Even though there are hundreds of articles circulating with speculated versions and specifications which will be offered in Malaysia, they are still speculations as Toyota Malaysia have not disclosed anything officially.
However, we do have a gut feeling that it is going to be the one powered by a 2.0-litre 4-cylinder petrol engine producing 171 PS and 203 Nm of torque. Whether there’s going to be a PHEV, or a 2.5-litre version remains unknown.
So, if you’re really interested in getting your hands on one, head to UMW Toyota’s official website and register your interest, or just give a call to your nearest showroom.
Watch out CR-V and CX-5, as player 3 is about to enter the ring to give the two of you a good run for your money.
