BMW Malaysia today announced the official pricing of the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport, the latest PHEV variant of the highly successful Sports Activity Vehicle (SAV).
Arriving in the M Sport variant, the New BMW X5 xDrive50e comes as a welcome addition to the BMW Group’s premium line-up of locally assembled vehicles for the Malaysian market.
First previewed by the premium automaker earlier this month, the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport sees substantial enhancements in terms of performance and efficiency, with increased power and a superior electric range, showcasing a blend of contemporary athleticism and elegance to stand out on Malaysian roads.
The New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport features an enhanced PHEV powertrain delivering a combined output of 489 hp, as well as an upgraded 700 Nm of torque.
The amalgamated power from the 3.0-liter straight-six petrol engine and the potent electric motor enables the New BMW X5 xDrive50e M Sport to achieve a 4.8-second century sprint.
Additionally, the PHEV’s electric capabilities receive a significant boost, providing an electric range of up to 110 km (WLTP) and an improved 7.4 kW charging capacity, allowing it to reach a full charge from 0-100% in just 4.5 hours.
