BMW Malaysia recently announced the arrival of the new BMW i4 eDrive35 in entry level variants, namely the BMW i4 eDrive35 and the BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport which will be joining the BMW i4 M50 which was launched a few months ago.
While the i4 eDrive35 comes with a recommended retail price of RM258,210, the i4 eDrive35 M Sport‘s recommended retail price stands at RM284,210.
From the front, the new BMW i4 eDrive35 variants exude a fierce and distinctive design characteristic that highlight the kidney grille design with horizontal slates. This is further enhanced with the sleek LED headlights that will surely make a striking presence on the road.
The BMW i4 eDrive35 and BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport both ride on 18-inch double-spoke light allow wheels in 853 Bicolour and 18-inch M aerodynamic wheels with 858 M Bicolour mixed tyres respectively. Unique to the BMW i4 eDrive35 variant is a sleek Aluminium Satin lining gracefully adorning its sides.
As for its dimensions, the New BMW i4 eDrive35 variants share similar characteristics to the likes of the BMW i4 eDrive 40 – measuring to 4,783mm in length, 1,852mm in width and 1,448mm in height, while its wheelbase measures at 2,856mm. As for the boot space, the New BMW i4 eDrive35 provides 1,290 litres at its maximum capacity, allowing for optimal storage space.
The cockpit of the New BMW i4 eDrive35 variants features the well-loved cutting-edge BMW iDrive infotainment system, and the new variants boasts the opulent BMW Curved Display, elevating aesthetics and delivering a new kind of driver orientation that sets a new standard for intuitive control.
For those seeking a sportier touch, the New BMW i4 eDrive35 variant features a sport leather steering wheel, while elevating the interior aesthetics is the oak grain open-pored fine-wood trim, adding a touch of natural elegance to every drive.
The i4 eDrive35 M Sport, on the other hand, defines itself with a thrilling Alumium Rhombicle Anthracite M interior trim which is complemented by a powerful stereo speaker system.
Under the hood, the BMW i4 eDrive35 is powered by a single electrically excited synchronous motor, delivering an impressive 286 hp and 400 Nm of torque channeled to the rear wheels. This potent combination grants the BMW i4 eDrive35 a century sprint in 6 seconds.
With the ability to AC Charge at up to an impressive 11 kW and DC Charge at up to 180 kW, owners of the New BMW i4 eDrive 35 will also be able to enjoy charging access at over 1,000 charging facilities nationwide, powered by major local EV charging providers who are in partnership with BMW Group Malaysia.
That being said, the exterior colour offerings for the New BMW i4 eDrive35 include Black Sapphire, Mineral White, Sanremo Green, Skyscraper Grey and Aventurine Red. In addition to the five original colours, the New BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport also comes in M Portimao Blue and M Brooklyn Grey.
As for the interior upholstery, the New BMW i4 eDrive35 variants come in colours – the Sensatec Porfarated Black, Sensatec Perforated Cognac and Sensatec Perforated Tacora Red.
With the Straight Line Financing Plan from BMW Group Financial Services Malaysia, the New BMW i4 eDrive35 can be owned with a monthly instalment plan starting from RM3,358.00, meanwhile the New BMW i4 eDrive35 M Sport starts at RM3,657.00 (based on estimates of an 80% loan on a seven-year tenure).
Additionally, owners of these variants are entitled to a monthly instalment plan for the 5-year Easy Drive plan or with a mileage of 100,000 km at an 80% MoF. They can also benefit from a RM8,000 Easy Drive Cash Rebate upon registering for the Easy Drive Financing.
