Honda Malaysia has officially opened pre-bookings for its inaugural Battery Electric Vehicle (BEV), the All-New e:N1, via its official website. Scheduled for launch in the second quarter of 2025, the introduction of the e:N1 marks a significant step in Honda’s electric mobility journey in Malaysia.
This launch strengthens the brand’s commitment to delivering environmentally conscious vehicles that stay true to Honda’s core values of joy, functionality, and forward-thinking innovation.
Previewed at the 2024 Kuala Lumpur International Motor Show (KLIMS 2024), the e:N1 is essentially an electric HR-V on a new platform, crafted with Honda’s human-centric approach. Its design and performance reflect a balance between cutting-edge electric technology and the engaging driving experience that Honda fans have come to expect.
Built on the new e:N Architecture F—a front-wheel-drive platform specifically engineered for electric vehicles—the e:N1 promises seamless acceleration and responsive handling.
This platform supports a high-output electric motor and a 68.8kWh lithium-ion battery, enabling the vehicle to deliver up to 150kW of power and 310Nm of torque. With these capabilities, the e:N1 offers an estimated range of up to 500km (NEDC), ideal for both urban and longer journeys.
With its modern aesthetic and thoughtful design, the e:N1 introduces a distinct identity for Honda’s electric lineup. Key exterior elements include Full LED Headlights, a continuous LED rear light bar, and discreet front charging ports compatible with both AC (normal) and DC (fast) charging. A visible charging indicator placed above the grille provides convenient status updates, while the exclusive 18-inch Dual-Tone Alloy Wheels add to its contemporary appeal.
Unique to this BEV is a white “H” logo, symbolizing Honda’s commitment to electrification. This new emblem appears throughout the car—from the smart key and steering wheel to the front charging lid and wheel caps. At the rear, the model features a new “Honda” wordmark with a spaced-letter design, enhancing its premium look. The e:N1 measures 4,380mm in length, stands at 1,592mm tall, and sits on a 2,610mm wheelbase.
Safety continues to be a top priority for Honda, and the e:N1 is no exception. It comes equipped with advanced safety features, including Blind Spot Information (BSI) and Cross Traffic Monitor (CTM), along with the full Honda SENSING suite comprising nine intelligent driver-assist technologies. These systems are designed to enhance confidence and ensure a safe driving experience.
