First impressions: MG5 Sedan – Not bad actually

MG5

We were recently given the opportunity to spend some time with the newly launched MG5 Sedan and here’s our verdict:

  • Pros: Design, long list of features, spacious, big boot
  • Cons: CVT rubber-band effect, lack of safety features like Autonomous Emergency Braking

Overall, it is actually a decent proposition. For the price of RM93,900, you get a product which is on par with its rivals like the Honda City and Toyota Vios. It may be inferior in terms of performance and safety, but it wins in terms of the design and practicality.
