Scania Delivers First New Generation XT Truck in Sarawak

Scania Malaysia seems has been busy lately, especially in Sarawak where the company had just opened the doors to its latest facility, but that’s not all.

Today, Scania Malaysia announced that it had just delivered the first unit of the latest generation Scania XT model in Sarawak to its loyal customer – Mansang Logistics Sdn Bhd.

The model purchased by Mansang Logistics Sdn Bhd was a refrigerated P250B4X2NZ XT at the new Scania Malaysia Sales and Services centre in Kuching. It was Sarawak’s first Scania New Truck Generation; first XT and first rigid type.

According to Mansang Logistics, they chose the aforementioned model due to its ability to withstand the toughest of conditions and challenging surroundings while securing maximum uptime.

Plus the model is also known for offering a complete package, comprising a good looking exterior, a very functional and ergonomic interior, and most importantly, a lot of power.

Key features of the Scania XT include adjustable seats that are close to the door, an ergonomic dashboard, and a large windscreen with extended view that makes it easier for the driver to operate in a comfortable and safe environment.

The key to the new truck was handed over by Phang Yee Fong, Regional Manager for East Coast & East Malaysia, Scania Southeast Asia to Henry Tiong, Director of Mansang Logistics.

Kuching, 1st of November – Mansang Logistics Sdn Bhd broke the record for ‘First’ in several categories when they received the refrigerated Scania New Truck Generation P250B4X2NZ XT at the new Scania Malaysia Sales and Services centre in Kuching. It was Sarawak’s first Scania New Truck Generation; first XT and first rigid type.

The key to the new truck was handed over by Phang Yee Fong, Regional Manager for East Coast & East Malaysia, Scania Southeast Asia to Henry Tiong, Director of Mansang Logistics.

“This truck model is ideal for urban and regional operations and well-proven for construction and other demanding conditions,” said Yee Fong.

“With the best driver ergonomics in its class, premium working cab with easy access, powerful and fuel-efficient engine, it is designed for the business that only matters.”

The Scania New Truck Generation XT is tailored to withstand challenging surroundings, securing uptime and boosting productivity with tougher interiors, tougher exteriors and more power. Plus, the steel bumper, protection shield, and towing devices are all capable of handling all obstacles with maximum uptime.

It is also designed and engineered to give Scania truck owners better fuel efficiency and lower CO2 emissions as it is equipped with advanced powertrain and aerodynamic solutions that gives 3% fuel economy.
