Great Wall Motor (GWM) Malaysia recently announced that it will set a CKD plant in Malaysia. On top of this, it will launch their first CKD model in the second half of 2024, namely the HAVAL H6, which is crowned as the ‘Best-selling SUV in China’.
This CKD plant will play a significant role in GWM’s plan to establish its market presence in the ASEAN region with comprehensive sales and after-sales service.
This GWM Malaysia’s inaugural CKD product is a collaborative project with EPMB, a Malaysian automotive investment holding company.
