Honda City Now Comes with Honda Sensing – RM90,212

Honda City V-Sensing

Honda Malaysia today announced the addition of a new variant of the City, called the Honda City V-Sensing which is priced at RM90,212.

The Honda City V-Sensing is the second variant after the City RS e:HEV to be offered with Honda Sensing.

The suite of driver assistance safety systems in Honda Sensing are:

  1. Adaptive Cruise Control (ACC)
  2. Collision Mitigation Braking System (CMBS)
  3. Forward Collision Warning (FCW)
  4. Lane Keep Assist System (LKAS)
  5. Road Departure Mitigation (RDM)
  6. Lane Departure Warning (LDW)
  7. Auto High Beam (AHB)

The new variant also features a 7-inch Interactive Thin Film Transistor (TFT) meter that provides easy access to information according to the driver’s needs while driving.

With the addition of the City V-Sensing, customers can now choose between five variants of the Honda City – the City 1.5S, City 1.5E, City 1.5V, City 1.5 V-Sensing, and City RS – priced between RM74,191 and RM105,950.

To date, the City has contributed 34% to Honda Malaysia’s total sales between January and October 2021, making it the best-selling model in Honda Malaysia.

Powering the Honda City V-Sensing is a 1.5L DOHC i–VTEC engine coupled with Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) that produces up to 121 PS and a maximum torque of 145 Nm.

Highlights on the exterior include LED Headlights and LED Daytime Running Lights (DRL), LED Fog Lights, LED Taillights as well as a set of 16-inch Alloy Wheels.

Inside, the City V-Sensing comes with leather seats with Ivory highlights at inner areas, Rear Air Conditioning Ventilation, an 8-inch Display Audio with Apple CarPlay and Android Auto Connectivity, Paddle Shifters, and Remote Engine Start function.

Having been awarded with the “ASEAN NCAP Excellent Award category – Consistent 5 Star” at ASEAN NCAP Grand Prix Awards 2020, the Honda City V-Sensing carries the same advanced safety features with the V and RS e:HEV variants such as Six Airbags and Honda LaneWatch, a camera based advanced safety technology which helps monitor blind spots through an infotainment system.

The variant offers a host of safety features, which are Rear Seat Belt Reminder, Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Anti-lock Braking System (ABS), Electronic Brake Distribution (EBD), Brake Assist (BA), Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Rear Seat ISOFIX I-SIZE Type.

Other additional safety features in this variant include Reverse Sensors with Multi-Angle Reverse Camera.
