Honda Malaysia has announced a new interior colour addition to the HR-V RS – “Classy dark brown leather”.
The new classy dark brown leather interior, which will complement the existing black leather interior, is fitted into the centre console, front panel, driver and passenger seats (front and rear) as well as door panel lining.
The new dark brown leather interior also happens to be a feature that is available exclusively in the Malaysian market.
Launched in 2015, there are more than 91,000* units of HR-V on Malaysian roads. The facelifted HR-V which was introduced in January 2019, has sold more than 19,000 units with the RS variant contributing 21% to the total facelifted HR-V sales.
The HR-V RS is powered by a 1.8L SOHC i-VTEC engine combined with Honda’s Earth Dreams Technology Continuous Variable Transmission (CVT) to deliver a balance of performance and fuel efficiency.
It is also equipped with an exciting feature – the Variable Gear Ratio (VGR) steering system for a sportier and responsive driving experience.
Other standard features include the 7-inch Display Audio, Paddle Shifter, Honda LaneWatch, as well as the Multi-Utility Cargo Space.
Standard safety features in the HR-V include Six Airbags, Emergency Stop Signal (ESS), Automatic Brake Hold (ABH), Vehicle Stability Assist (VSA), Hill Start Assist (HSA) and Rear Seat ISOFIX.
The HR-V RS outfitted with the new dark brown leather interior is priced at RM124,800, similar to the current RS variant. The HR-V RS is available in 3 colour options namely Passion Red Pearl, Modern Steel Metallic and White Orchid Pearl.
