Honda Prelude Concept: A Sporty Vision for Tomorrow
Making its exclusive Malaysian debut at KLIMS 2024, the Honda Prelude Concept is a revolutionary design that previews Honda’s electrified future. As the only Asian country outside Japan to host this model, Malaysia takes center stage in Honda’s forward-looking strategy.
True to its iconic sports DNA, the Prelude Concept blends electrification with advanced automation technologies. It embodies Honda’s commitment to carbon neutrality and delivering the “joy of driving” in an electrified era.
Although Honda has yet to release technical details, the Prelude Concept is confirmed to feature a hybrid powertrain, promising over 200hp. Whether it shares components with the Honda Civic Hybrid remains speculative, but it underscores Honda’s ambitions for performance and sustainability.
Honda e:N1: The First Electric Honda for Malaysia
The Honda e:N1, Honda Malaysia’s first battery electric vehicle (BEV), is set to arrive in 2025, marking a new era of electric mobility in the country.
With its three-in-one electric motor system, the e:N1 delivers an exhilarating driving experience. The electric motor generates 201hp and 310Nm of torque, powered by a 68.8kWh Lithium-Ion battery, offering a 500km range on a single charge.
The e:N1 accelerates from 0-100km/h in 7.6 seconds, reaches a top speed of 160km/h, and competes directly with models like the BYD Atto 3. Designed with Honda’s signature dynamic performance, the e:N1 caters to Malaysian drivers seeking responsiveness, range, and excitement in an electric SUV.
