In conjunction with the 30th anniversary of the Duke model, KTM motorcycles unveiled not one or two, but four new Duke models in Malaysia recently, which are the 2024 Duke 250, Duke 390, Duke 990, as well as the 1390 Super Duke R, which are priced as mentioned below:
- 2024 KTM Duke 250 – RM22,500
- 2024 KTM Duke 390 – RM35,800
- 2024 KTM Duke 990 – RM99,800
- 2024 KTM 1390 Super Duke R – RM151,300
First and foremost, we have the new KTM Duke 250 which comes with a new frame, a new engine that makes 1hp more, a new digital speedometer, a built-in quickshifter as standard, as well as a new design.
Moving along, we have the 2024 KTM Duke 390 which also boasts a new frame, a new engine, a built-in quickshifter, new riding modes, prolonged service interval for the engine, a new digital TFT screen, as well as increased power.
Those who want a naked bike with even more power can opt for the 2024 KTM Duke 990 which comes with a more aggressive design, full LED lights, a new fully-digital TFT display, a new engine, new riding modes, prolonged engine service interval, new forks, and much more.
Last but not least, we have the new KTM 1390 Super Duke R which now comes with a new and more powerful engine, new Brembo Stylema brakes, a new and lighter frame, new riding modes, a new digital speedometer, a more aggressive design, and a more user-friendly overall riding characteristic that makes it more suitable for less-experienced riders.
On top of these four models, Eurotech Wheel Distribution Sdn Bhd, the authorised distributor of KTM motorcycles in Malaysia also promised that another new model is all set to be unveiled later this year, which is the 2024 KTM Duke 790 which will be manufactured in China. It is said that the model will come with improvised features and a more attractive price tag than the outgoing Duke 790.
