MAN Truck & Bus is expanding its range of services to include comprehensive consultancy for fleet and transport solutions with alternative drives right through to zero-emission solutions.
As they navigate the path from ‘low emission’ to ‘no emission’, transport companies and fleet operators face a range of challenges that go beyond the vehicle itself. To provide them with the best possible support with this, MAN Truck & Bus is creating a specialised team of consultants for personalised transport solutions offering maximum cost efficiency. In addition to the vehicle itself, this will cover issues relating to infrastructure and energy demand, as well as maintenance concepts and the fleet design.
“Each customer can select whichever components of our range of services they need, as we provide personalised advice and consultancy. For example, we can use our simulation tools to assist them with route planning or with depot design and layout,” explained Stefan Sahlmann, who is heading up the consultancy team at MAN Truck & Bus. The service portfolio covers the complete use of the vehicles – both trucks and buses – ranging from operation and infrastructure to servicing and maintenance.
