Suzuki Malaysia recently unveiled three new highly anticipated motorcycles at the 2024 Malaysia Autoshow which took place at MAEPS Serdang. The models are:
- Suzuki GSX-S1000GX: (MSRP) RM89,900
- Suzuki GSX-8R: (MSRP) RM 53,800
- Suzuki V-STROM 800: (MSRP) RM 54,800
Leading the lineup is the Suzuki GSX-S1000GX, celebrated as ‘The Supreme Sport Crossover’. Acclaimed globally for its versatility and aggressive aesthetics, this model blends the latest technology with road touring and pure adventure capabilities, positioning it as the hero of the show.
The GSX-S1000GX, part of the renowned GSX-S series, introduces new features and advanced functions, providing superbike-level performance with optimized comfort, connectivity, and attention to detail.
The bike’s suspension setup ensures comfort while attacking sharp corners and handling rugged terrains, offering a premium sport touring experience that has been praised by media worldwide.
The Suzuki GSX-8R, dubbed ‘The New Era of Superbike,’ is highly anticipated by Malaysia’s superbike enthusiasts. Powered by a newgeneration parallel twin 776cc DOHC engine, the GSX-8R combines sportbike appeal with performance and riding pleasure.
Designed for agility and control, this bike is perfect for both urban commutes and sporty weekend rides through winding sub-urban roads. Its superbike looks and satisfying sports performance are set to captivate riders across various ages and experience levels.
Completing the trio is the Suzuki V-Strom 800, the latest addition to Suzuki’s adventure bike lineup. This model boasts a 776cc parallel twin engine with a 270-degree crank layout, offering smooth, controllable power and free-revving performance.
The V-Strom 800 ensures optimum performance, comfort, and handling ease, making long rides more enjoyable, whether laden with gear for extended journeys or for daily commutes around town.
In addition to the GSX-S1000GX, GSX-8R, and V-Strom 800, Suzuki Malaysia also showcased an impressive array of other models, including the iconic Hayabusa, V-Strom 1050, 800DE, 1050RR, 250SX, and the GSX series, featuring the GSX-S1000GX, GSX-8S, Gixxer 250, Gixxer SF250, and GSXS150.
The popular Raider R150Fi and the newly launched scooters, Burgman Street 125EX and Avenis 125, were also on display.
