Mazda Malaysia today announced that the all-new Mazda CX-30, which sits between the CX-3 and CX-5 SUVs in the stable, is now officially open for booking.
Imported from Japan, the Mazda CX-30 is available in three variants, with prices as mentioned below:
- CX-30 2.0L (2WD) – RM143,119
- CX-30 2.0L High (2WD) – RM164,119
- CX-30 1.8L Diesel High (2WD) – RM173,027
While the petrol variants of the CX-30 are powered by a 2.0-litre Skyactiv-G engine producing 163 hp and 213 Nm of torque, the diesel variant gets a Skyactiv-D engine that makes 116 PS and 270 Nm of maximum torque.
Both petrol and diesel versions get the same 6-speed automatic transmission with manual shift mode, which send power exclusively to the front wheels.
Standard features across the board include LED headlights and taillights with auto-levelling, automatic wipers, auto-folding side mirrors, a sunroof, rear spoiler, a retractable cargo cover, as well as Mazda Connect infotainment system with an 8.8-inch touch screen display.
Exclusive for the CX-30 2.0L High and CX-30 1.8L Diesel however, are features like LED tail lamps with signature illumination, Mazda Advance Keyless Entry, a powered tailgate, front and rear parking sensors, leather seats, as well as 17-inch wheels (vs base spec’s 16-inch).
The colour line-up includes Soul Red Crystal, Machine Gray, Titanium Flash, Jet Black, Deep Crystal Blue, Sonic Silver, Snowflake White Pearl and Polymetal Gray Metallic; making a total of 8 colors available.
All new Mazda vehicles registered from January 1, 2019 onwards will have 5-Years Manufacturer Warranty + 5-Years Free Maintenance (except Mazda BT-50) according to manufacturer’s standards inclusive of labour, parts and lubricants. Both Manufacturer Warranty and Free Maintenance have a coverage period of five years and a mileage limit of 100,000km, whichever comes first.
