Honda Malaysia Sdn. Bhd has announced the appointment of Mr. Narushi Yazaki as its new Managing Director and Chief Executive Officer, effective from 1st April 2025. Mr. Yazaki succeeds Mr. Hironobu Yoshimura, who has led the company successfully for the past three years.
With over 25 years of experience within Honda, Mr. Yazaki has held various leadership positions across several countries, including Japan, Thailand, and the United States. Prior to his new role in Honda Malaysia, Mr. Yazaki was part of the Corporate Administration Operations at Honda Motor Co., Ltd. in Tokyo, Japan.
Commenting on his appointment, Mr. Yazaki shared, “I am privileged to step into this role at Honda Malaysia, a market recognized for its vibrant growth and vital contributions to the Honda brand across the Asia and Oceania region. I look forward to building on the strong legacy of my predecessors and further advancing Honda Malaysia’s growth and success in this promising market.”

Meanwhile, Mr. Yoshimura, who served as Managing Director and CEO, has taken on a new position at Honda’s headquarters, Honda Motor Co., Ltd., Tokyo, effective 1st April 2025.
Under his leadership, Honda Malaysia maintained its top position in the Non-National Passenger Vehicle segment for 11 consecutive years, successfully navigating through the challenges of the post-pandemic era.
