Proton today decided to break the internet early in the morning by finally releasing the official images of the upcoming X50, revealing the model in all its glory.
Three photos were shared on Proton’s official Facebook page this morning, showing the X50’s exterior as well as the cabin.
From what we can see, there are LED DRLs, dual tone body colour, a generous dosage of leather upholstery, a large touch screen infotainment system, a flat-bottomed steering wheel, as well as rear air cond vents and rear USB charging ports.
Technical details are yet to be disclosed by the national carmaker, but rumour has it that there could be four variants (Standard, Executive, Premium, Flagship) and two 1.5-litre three-cylinder engine options (Turbo and TGDI) making up to 175 hp and 255 Nm of torque.
That said, watch this space for more details as we are actually quite close to the launch.
