In an effort to show their appreciation and support to frontliners, Domino’s Pizza and Sime Darby Motors delivered 4,200 pizzas to those in the medical sector recently.
The collaboration between Domino’s Pizza and Sime Darby Motors kicked off at MAEPS, the COVID-19 quarantine centre located in Serdang, where 1,400 frontliners tend to over 3,000 patients.
Where?
This delivery was promptly followed by deliveries to several COVID-19-designated hospitals within the Klang Valley, including Sungai Buloh Hospital, Hospital Selayang, Hospital Serdang, Hospital Kajang, Hospital Kuala Lumpur, Ampang Hospital, Hospital Canselor, University Malaya Medical Centre, MSU Medical Centre and Hospital Tengku Ampuan Rahimah in Klang.
Instead of Domino’s delivery riders, Sime Darby Motors vehicles were used to transport the pizzas to the frontliners over a period of two weeks with the aim to uplift the spirits of frontliners who have endured so much during this time.
Joyride in luxury vehicles
As part of the Love Our Frontliners initiative, a few selected frontliners also enjoyed the experience of being chauffeur-driven in Sime Darby Motors’ luxury vehicles. The special treat also included all expenses paid grocery shopping treats from Domino’s Pizza.
