Tesla Malaysia proudly presented the highly anticipated Cybertruck, a groundbreaking vehicle that combines the utility of a truck with the performance of a sports car yesterday.
Designed for maximum durability, versatility, and exceptional on-road and off-road performance, the Cybertruck sets new standards in automotive engineering with features like the futuristic design, the super-durable stainless steel body, and so forth.
First officially unveiled to the world in 2019, the Cybertruck was showcased in Thailand last week before it made its way to Malaysia. The electric pickup truck, which has already visited China, Hong Kong and Japan, will also be on display at Tesla’s showrooms in Cyberjaya and Pavilion Damansara Heights in May.
In the most recent update, Tesla has already delivered the first batch of Cybertrucks in November 2023, achieving a successful history record in automotive history. However, it will not be sold in Malaysia for now as it is too big for our roads and does not adhere to a few key requirements of the Malaysian Road Transport Department (JPJ).
The Cybertruck is also the first Tesla to feature an 800-volt architecture that should allow for higher sustained charging speeds at DC fast chargers (including Tesla’s Superchargers). It’s also the first production vehicle to come with a 48-volt electrical architecture, allowing for lower amperage and thus thinner wires.
That being said, the Cybertruck introduces the most advanced technologies to the global market, many of which are applicable to our existing product lineup. Therefore, alongside the exclusive unveiling of Cybertruck, Tesla will offer test drives of its current available models, including Model 3 and Model Y, allowing attendees to experience the outstanding performance and environmentally friendly features of Tesla’s electric vehicles.
A public viewing event will be organized in the near future, providing a wider audience with the opportunity to view the Cybertruck and witness its remarkable features firsthand. Tesla enthusiasts are advised to stay informed for updates and announcements regarding upcoming public events.
