UMW Toyota Motor ended September 2023 with sustained growth, achieving monthly total sales of 9,228 units (Toyota + Lexus), comprising 9,020 units for Toyota and 208 units for Lexus.

With this achievement, the total year-to-date sales as of September 2023 is now at 76,511 units compared to 70,872 units for year-to-date sales in the same period last year. This marks an 8.0% year-on-year rise in year-to-date sales for the first nine months of the year.

Toyota continued to reinforce its offerings for drivers in Malaysia with the introduction of the Yaris IMP to strengthen its leading position in the non-national B-segment hatchback market.

Featuring styling enhancements, new technology, and a refreshed interior ambiance, the new Toyota Yaris builds on the significant success of the preexisting model, which has sold over 60,300 units since its launch in 2019.

Reflecting the “Dare to Live: Amp Up Your Vibe” tagline, the Yaris IMP delivers joy and excitement to a Gen-Z audience looking for an upgrade in their status symbol, via two variants – the 1.5E and 1.5G.

Toyota also introduced its new Toyota MY app to offer an enhanced and more seamless digital experience to customers by merging the features of the Toyota Drive and Toyota 24Seven apps into a single app.

Owners now enjoy a seamless and cohesive experience on the app, such as when checking vehicle info, making service appointments, requesting 24Seven roadside assistance, locating a Toyota outlet, and more.

As the company’s comprehensive digital platform in Malaysia – available for iOS and Android devices, the app also provides the latest Toyota news and promotions, with new innovations and features to be added in the future.

Also, UMW Toyota Motor marked September by inviting Malaysians to step into a promising future with the continuation of their promotion offering a brand-new Toyota with up to 100% loan. Customers can choose a low instalment plan option from only RM688 a month for the latest Toyota Vios, while buyers who opt for a new Toyota Camry can enjoy up to RM15,000 price reduction through the promotion.

Toyota owners also received support in keeping their car performing optimally through the Toyota Service Savers programme that helps them save costs while receiving flexible professional car care and genuine Toyota parts.

New customers, who can choose between 5-year and 3-year servicing packages, can save as much as RM814 for HILUX buyers who opt for the 5-year package, with various other attractive savings offered across the full range of Toyota models. Similarly, existing Toyota owners can opt for 2-year servicing packages at attractive discounts, with HILUX drivers saving up to RM569.
