Triumph Motorcycles has re-introduced the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 in Malaysia under the brand’s new custodian recently, along with an exciting Merdeka promotion.
The retail selling price for the Tiger Sport 660 is RM50,900, and any booking made from now on till the end of August will entitle to enjoy the purchase of Triumph Motorcycles Genuine Original storage accessories worth RM9,542 for RM5,900.
Powered by a 660 cc three-cylinder engine producing 81PS peak power at 10,250 rpm and 64Nm peak torque at 6,250 rpm, the Tiger 660 Sport is the most powerful bike in its class.
Complementing the powertrain are features like the integrated pillion grab handles, 835mm seat height, Showa 41mm upside down cartridge forks, Showa monoshock RSU with remote hydraulic preload adjustment, Nissin brakes with twin 310mm front discs, and Michelin Road 5 tyres.
Fitted with a 17-litre fuel tank, the Tiger Sport also comes with a TFT display, Road and Rain riding modes, Full LED lighting with distinctive twin headlights and self-cancelling indicators, switchable traction control, ABS, ride-by-wire throttle, slip and assist clutch, and an immobiliser.
In terms of design, the Tiger Sport 660 features an upright, imposing Tiger poise with all-new bodywork and compact low-mounted silencer, and comes in three contemporary paint schemes with new sporty graphics.
Triumph also claims that the Tiger Sport 660 comes with the lowest service workshop cost in the category, with a 16,000 km or 12 months service interval, and to top it off, you get a two-year unlimited mileage warranty, with the option to extend for one or two years.
Last but not least, there is a long list of accessories available for the Tiger Sport 660, which includes a full range of touring luggage including the two-helmet top box, plus additional protection, capability, style and security accessories that were all engineered alongside the motorcycle and tested to the same quality standards. It is worth mentioning here that the accessories also come with a two-year unlimited mileage warranty.
That being said, the Triumph Tiger Sport 660 is priced from RM50,900, and for a limited time, you can have the bike with the Promotion Accessories Package for RM56,800.
On a separate note, Triumph Motorcycles Malaysia also announced that all the other models sold in Malaysia are now available in a new selection of colours for 2024.
