The manufacturer of Volvo trucks and buses in India will invest 1,000 crore in three years to expand capacity and reach. VE Commercial Vehicles, an equal joint-venture between Delhi-based Eicher Motors Ltd and Volvo Group of Sweden, will focus on fully built buses and heavy trucks to grow its business, its CEO Vinod Aggarwal said recently in an interview . The company will turn India into a Volvo export hub for Middle East, Africa and South East Asian markets besides South Asia.
