Volvo Trucks Strengthens its Electromobility Offer

Volvo Trucks is now reinforcing its electromobility organisation with the arrival of Edward Jobson, who will serve as Vice President of the new Electromobility function.

In his new role he will develop and lead work in Volvo Trucks’ unified function for development of electrified solutions for goods transport – Electromobility.

Edward Jobson comes most recently from a position as Chief Engineer at Volvo Buses and has long and renowned experience of sustainable transport and electromobility.

Edward Jobson has a Master of Science degree from Chalmers University of Technology and a PhD from ETH in Zürich, and has been Associate Professor at Chalmers.

In spring 2018 Volvo Trucks introduced two all-electric trucks for urban operations – the Volvo FL Electric and Volvo FE Electric.
